Cream moisturisers are emollients that are thicker than lotions, but can range from light to very rich, occlusive creams (with the latter often categorised as night creams).
Light creams are ideal for warmer weather and for oily/combination & normal skin, while rich, dense creams are ideal for cooler weather, drier skin and eczema.
